About Travelabrood

Travelabrood began in 2013 as a way to share our travels and help others travel better. There is more travel information online than ever, but a real person's first-hand experience still makes the difference – the small discoveries you might never find on your own.

You'll also find the odd guest story from friends and family who've been somewhere worth writing about.

Privacy

If you subscribe, we keep your name and email address only to let you know when a new story goes up. We never sell or share it, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying “unsubscribe” to any of our emails.

Any itinerary you build on Follow our footsteps is saved only in your own browser – we can’t see it.

This site runs on Google’s Blogger, which uses cookies and collects basic visitor statistics. See how Google uses cookies and Google’s privacy policy.

When you click a tour or hotel link, or view the tour suggestions on our pages, our partners (GetYourGuide, Viator, Stay22 and Booking.com) may set their own cookies so a booking can be credited to us. They don’t share your personal details with us. See each partner’s own privacy policy for more.

The fine print

Travelabrood is a personal travel blog. We are not a travel agent, we don’t sell travel, and no one pays us to recommend anything – we simply share where we went and what we enjoyed. Some links are affiliate links – tours through GetYourGuide (and sometimes Viator), and hotels through Booking.com and other booking sites via Stay22. If you book through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Prices, opening hours and other details change, so please check with operators before you book. Links to other websites are there for convenience; we’re not responsible for their content.

All photos and words are © Travelabrood unless credited otherwise. Please ask before using them.
